Landscape Realities _the Self

This painting is part of a trilogy and may be hung in portrait or landscape format. The three paintings are personal views using the self as an observing woman. This one was done in 2012 and describes uneasiness towards aging. Using Dequindre Cut (Detroit’s graffiti walk and biking path) as a symbol for youth and future, the figure is successfully hanging on.
